SRINIVAS KAMBALA - Volunteer Teacher, Bayswater Centre | |
Srinivas Kambala currently teaches Telugu to the Level 3 classes on Saturday from 2.30pm to 4:30pm at our Community language school in Bayswater Centre since 2015. He holds degree in Mechanical Engineering & Design. He also have a Drawing teacher degree (TTC – Government of India Certificate course) . After graduation he worked as a designer in Hero Honda Motors Ltd, New Delhi in India.
He migrated to Australia in 2012, Srinivas worked as a product development officer in Galvin Engineering Pvt Ltd, Malaga, Perth. Presently, he is working as a designer in Tasocs Pvt Ltd, Welshpool, Perth. Srinivas does volunteer work in Western Australia Telugu Association, JET Australia Perth and Sri Sai Baba Temple Perth. He is passionate about teaching children his native language of Telugu and art. He loves to spend his weekends with his family and friends. |

KAMALA RANI KARADA – Volunteer Teacher, Bayswater Centre | |
Kamalarani Karada currently teaches Telugu language for the foundation level students at our Community Language School of Bayswater centre. She completed her Bachelor of Education in 2005 from Andhra University, India and also completed also completed Diploma in Computer Applications in 2002. She holds Certificate III in Education support and awarded Certificate of Merit for Micro Teaching. She is qualified First Aider at our Bayswater Centre. She completed most of her studies in her mother tongue Telugu. She always likes to work with the young children which gave her a strong desire to choose teaching as a profession
Before moving to Australia in 2011, Kamala worked as a primary teacher in India for 8 years. Last 5 years she has been working as Child Care assistant and Education Support worker in WA. She spends her leisure time in stitching Indian traditional clothes, cooking, reading native language story books and telling those stories to her son. Kamala has been teaching with our community language school since 2017. |

Sujana Mannem currently teaches Telugu to the Year 1 class on Saturdays from 1:30 to 3:30 pm at our Community Telugu Language School at Bayswater. She earned Master in Business Administration and Diploma in Mktg&Advtg from Bharathiya Vidhya Bhavans, India. She started her career working in Sydney for Telstra and Syamantec. Later moved to Perth and currently staying at home looking after her two young boys.
Learning more than one language and knowing the importance of culture makes next generation strong. This motive initiated herself in teaching the Telugu language. She spends her time in cooking, crafting and spending time on short local trips with family. It's been an year she started teaching in our community. |

SRIKANTH - Volunteer Teacher, Willetton Centre | |
Srikanth, currently teaches Telugu to the year 3 students on Sundays from 2:30PM to 4:30PM at our community language school in Willetton. He is a qualified Mechanical engineer who has done his Bachelors from Jawaharlal Nehru technological University, Hyderabad, INDIA and Masters (Post Graduate certificate course) from IIT Madras, INDIA. He is a member of Engineers Australia. He is currently working as Senior Engineer in Worley Parsons, Perth.
He ran an evening/night school (charitable with government funded) when he was 12 years of age along with his mother for the kids who can’t afford to go to public/private schools and parents who used to work in day time. Teaching is always a passion for him. His mother and sister both are teachers. Before moving to Australia in 2016 along with his wife (Asha) and 2 kids (Sohan and Sahil), Srikanth worked in many Asian countries such as Indis, South Korea, Malaysia and Sharjah. His favourite hobbies are singing, listening to Carnatic music, playing with kids, cooking etc. He is passionate about learning different languages. He always think, learning a new language is always beneficiary for any individual and one should learn their mother tongue fluently. |

Prasanthi Chokkala currently teaches Telugu to Foundation Level students at our Community Language School, Willetton Centre.
She holds Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and currently working as relief educational assistant at neighboring primary school around Willetton. She also worked as child care educator for one year at Beeliar Kids Corner, Child Care Centre. She enjoys working with young ones. She is passionate and enjoys cooking and baking. I like to spend some of my time in the weekend as volunteer teacher to teach Telugu. |

Jyothi Indurthi currently teaches Telugu language for the foundation level students at our Community Language School of Willetton centre. She completed her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education degrees from Andhra University, India. She completed her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and currently working as Childcare Educator. She is qualified First Aider at our Willetton Centre. She completed most of her studies in her mother tongue Telugu. She always likes to work with the young children, which lead to choose her profession in childcare.
She migrated to Australia in 2007 with her family. Last 5 years she has been working as Childcare educator with Goodstart Early Learning in WA. She spends her leisure time in gardening, cooking, reading native language story books and telling those stories to her daughter. Jyothi has been teaching with our community language school since 2017. |

UMESH EMBARI – Volunteer Teacher, Willetton Centre | |
Umesh Embari currently volunteer teacher of Telugu Badi who teaches level 1 class on Sunday from 2:30 to 4:00 pm. He is working as an Assistant Accountant for IT Company who completed Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Auckland university of Technology and Master in Commerce from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. He has both kids enrolled in WATA Telugu Badi, he spent lots of time in class which gave him an interest to assist Telugu Badi as a Volunteer teacher.
Umesh born and brought up in India. He migrated to New Zealand in 2001 to complete his higher studies and stayed there until Aug 2012. Before moving to Australia in 2012, Umesh worked as an Assistant Accountant in New Zealand. Umesh main hobby are playing cricket and watching TV. |

Neelima currently teaches foundation level kids at our Community Language school- WATA Telugubadi since 2017. She is commerce graduate from Osmania University -India.
She migrated to Australia along with her husband and 2 kids. Apart from volunteering in Language school she enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with family. She believes that by speaking the mother tongue, it keeps one closer to their culture. |

Padmavathi (Padma) Boyapati currently teaches Telugu to Level 1 students on Sundays from 2.30pm-4.30pm at our Community Language School in Willetton. She works as an education assistant- Special needs in Wilson Primary School. She earned Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Andhra University India in 1993 and Diploma in Early Childhood Education in Montessori Method from Modern Montessori International- London in Singapore.
Before relocating to Perth she worked as an early childhood teacher in Singapore. Encouraging young children to learn our mother tongue TELUGU which would help them to develop confidence, self-esteem and their unique identity in the global world. With this as her main objective she joined our Community Language School in 2016. She loves cooking, listening to music and attending Pottery classes. |

Krishna Dasari currently teaches Telugu to Level 2 students on Sundays from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm at WATA Telugu language school in Willetton. He is qualified Mechanical Engineer from University of Madras in 2002. Presently working with Jacobs Engineering, Perth.
He travelled Middle East, UK for his work and experienced many cultures. He migrated to Perth, Australia in 2017 along with his spouse and two young boys. Even though his medium of Education in English he never left his mother language and continue to learn Telugu during his education as second language. He is passionate about Telugu Language and love teaching children. He is working with WATA Telugu Badi as a Voluntary Teacher since 2018. |

Chandra Indurthi currently teaches Telugu language for the level 2 at our Community Language School of Willetton centre. He is Rail Engineer by profession and completed his Master’s degree in Civil Engineering in 1995 from Andhra University, India. He is a Charted Civil Engineer and Fellow Member of Institute of Engineers Australia. He completed his studies up to the level of high school in his mother tongue Telugu. He is currently Vice President of WA Telugu Association and Coordinator of our Community Language School. He is very enthusiastic community worker and serving Telugu Community in Perth for last 5 years.
He migrated to Australia in 2007 with her family. He is working as Senior Rail Engineer is an Engineering Consulting firm Jacobs. He spends his leisure time in community service. Chandra has been teaching with our community language school since 2016. |

SESHA BHARGAVI DEVALPALLY – Curriculum Coordinator | |
Sesha Bhargavi Devalpally hails from Andhra Pradesh in India. Her qualifications include a Masters in Telugu Literature with a TPT (Telugu Pundits Training). She has worked in educational institutions as teacher and lecturer from primary to university level students. She has broadcasted articles on All India Radio, been a judge for children’s literary competitions (Balanandam) and frequently freelance writes Telugu articles.
Living in Australia now, she is currently managing her own day-care business. She continues to evidence interest towards language by way of organizing or participating in multifarious activities involving Telugu literary and musical events. Currently she is one of the curriculum coordinator and teacher for the Telugu language community school. |

Dr Sowbhagyam BALASA currently teaches Telugu to the students at our Community Language School. She is an Indian qualified Medical Practitioner, who successfully owned private clinic and nursing home for nearly 40 years in her native town, also was the only lady Doctor during that period at Madanapalle, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh, India.
On top of her busy private practice, she enjoyed teaching biology for year 10 students on request from the local schools. She loves to keep herself busy with activities like knitting, gardening, cooking and reading books. |

Chandrasekhar Thota teaches Telugu to Level 4 students on Saturdays from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at our community Language School “Telugu Badi” in Bayswater. He is a qualified engineer specialising in ICT from Osmania University in 1998. After graduating from IIT Kanpur, he started working with Citibank and later with IBM.
Before moving to Perth in 2017, Chandrasekhar was volunteering in Bangalore, India, teaching young children in local native language. He started teaching Telugu in Perth from this year. He loves walking beach trails with his wife and two boys during weekends. |

Pavan Sirimalla currently teaches Level 2 - Telugu classes at ‘WATA Telugu Badi’ located at Rostara Family Centre, Willetton on Sundays from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. He is a software engineer graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University – Hyderabad, India back in 2005. After graduation he has worked in India, USA and currently in Perth, Australia.
He has moved to Australia during January 2018, joined ‘Telugu Badi’ during January 2019. He likes to help communities by extending his help within his abilities. His hobbies are driving, spending time with children, learning new things and getting around the WA’s natural beauty. |

Deepa Akula currently teaches Telugu to a young group of students on Sundays from 2:30-4:30PM in the in our Community Language school- 'WATATelugu Badi'. She is a qualified accounts personnel with years of experience in the government system. Her true passion lies in inspiring the young generation to learn and embrace their heritage and culture through the teaching of language.
She lived and grew up in Rajahmundry, a town in the Telugu speaking state of Andhra Pradesh before moving to Kalgoorlie in 2003 with her husband and son. Her true love and passion for teaching began when her son began primary school. She was constantly involved in the school's P&C committee and always helping out around the school as a teacher's helper and as a faithful volunteer to the small community of Kambalda. While being heavily involved in her son's life she had also earnt a Master’s Degree in accounting and worked as a Finance Officer in the Shire of Coolgardie. Her hobbies include gardening, cooking and traditional textile work, helping to represent her culture and language in many events such as school fetes, food festivals etc., with an aim to educate and inspire the wider community of the Telugu language and experience. |

He completed his National Trade Certificate after his high school studies. He is currently working as Machinist in RCR Mining Technologies, Welshpool.
He migrated to Australia in 2012 with his family. He loves spending time with his family and also exploring with them all over Australia. He love his native language Telugu and his culture. Because of his passion in Telugu language he recently joined in our community language school. |

Naga Prasanthi Kollipara currently teaches Telugu to the Level 1 students on Saturday from 2.30pm to 4:30pm at our Community language school in Bayswater Centre. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy in 2006 from JNT University, Inida. She worked as Pharmacist in India before migrating to Australia in 2009. While working as Pharmacist she found her passion for teaching, which led her to start working as a teacher in relevant subjects.
After her move to Australia in 2009, she completely dedicated her time to family but still had passion for teaching. She loves spending time with her two sons and her supportive husband and also exploring with them all over Australia. As thoroughly living her family life she again wanted to take an opportunity to prove her teaching skills. Because of her enthusiasm in teaching she recently joined in our community language school and hope she will give her best. |
